The live study of the manifestation of chronic illnesses in patient lives; collating of crucial data for analysis and study – treatment pattern evaluations, comparative effectiveness studies, drug safety studies, patient reported outcomes research, cost-of illness studies, budget impact and risk/benefit analysis; the challenge was to collect this data efficiently with zero chances of error.
Solution
eDOT created an online repository, where the patients & abstractors were able to enter data as per analytical requirement with validations governing the requirement criteria at different stages of the study.
This was done for multiple syndromes and the final reports were shared with pharmaceutical giants of the world.
