Welcome to the eDOT International Privacy policy
eDOT respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This document is intended to advise what data may be collected by eDOT when you visit their website or communicate with us & how & why that data may be used by us. We will also try and explain your legal rights in respect to data, especially so with the GDPR compliance becoming mandatory.

What data is controlled by us?
The term “data”, in the present context, is relevant to only Personal data, or personal information, meaning any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

What do we do with your personal data?
We are committed to use your personal data only where allowed to lawfully do so; we use your data
- Where it is necessary for executing our legitimate interests (registration/job application/email inquiries/marketing our services/service agreement/contract/scope of work) BUT your lawful fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
We will only use your personal data for the purpose for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. Your data will only be seen by “need to know” employees, who are bound by our terms of confidentiality.
We DO NOT outsource any development or designing work & remain committed towards protecting your personal data as set out in this document.

We have put procedures in place which will ensure that no unauthorized access of data takes place.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Erasure of records
You may contact us for erasing records of your personal data at any stage. There may be times that it may be necessary to retain your data for ongoing service contracts/scope of work and we would be happy to work with you for your concerns.
The above notwithstanding, we will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for and will always abide by any over-riding legal or statutory instruments.
